Greetings to all!
Let me introduce myself: I am from Spain and I have been a Warhammer Fantasy player since 2002. I have been coming to this spectacular forum for many years to see photos of High Elf armies and to keep up to date with the hobby. Now, after many years of waiting, and with the release of The Old World, I am returning to painting my main army, the High Elves.
I wanted to open this new photo-blog to show you my High Elf army as I paint it little by little. My idea is to make a large High Elf army where each of the Elven Kingdoms of Ulthuan are represented (so I want to make many units of spearmen, archers and silver helms each representing one of these kingdoms.
For the moment I will be able to take photos of my spearmen and archers from the kingdom of Eataine (which are the ones I have already finished) while I work on the conversion and painting of other models.
As you will see, the philosophy of the army is that each unit has some type of conversion and represents in some way that it is "fighting a battle" that is why you will see many enemies of the cult of Slaanesh as "proxies" of my units...
Although I will be publishing my news in this forum, you can also go to my Instagram profile where I will publish some videos in addition to the photos: https://www.instagram.com/high_elves_army/

Welcome Sertorio.
Fabulous work. The poses, the bold yellow shields (remind me of my days playing Ancients), the whole amazing creativity of it. I salute you sir!

Welcome Sertorio!
I can only agree with the others. I love the unit. The fighting a battle conversions are awesome and really help the unit stand out. I also love the muddy and bloody look of the shields. It makes them look like they're standing in the middle of a fight.
I can't wait for the next unit.

Thank you all for your welcome.
I've been pretty busy with work these days and I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond personally to everyone!
Today I have a little free time, so I'm here to leave you some photos of another unit that I recently finished painting: Eataine Archers.
Hope you like it!

Lovely work! Love your colour scheme. How did you do the bowstrings on the archers?
