Re: Warhammer Armies Project
Good to see you Ramesesis.
My advice would be to start a thread in the Warhammer 8th editon forum. It functions as a bit of a catch-all for Warhammer content for example there are threads about 6th edition there.

Indeed, what he sais...
Maybe we should rename that forum to simply "Warhammer Fantasy" or something similar.
And great to see you pop in Ramesesis

Re: Warhammer Armies Project
I've never looked much into WAP and 9th Edition, maybe I should.
From what I can see it seems very close to 8th Edition in term of rules - but how much, can anyone tell?
Also, how widely played is it?
Who writes the new army books?
Both facts and opinions welcome

Re: Warhammer Armies Project
It is getting closer and closer to trying it. It is a bit hard to find hard since the choice of stuff is just huge!
The amount of magic items to choose from is stagering

Re: Warhammer Armies Project
It's a solid ruleset, well thought out, 8th without the disadvantages. I like most rules choices, magic is meaningful but not overwhelming, combat a bit more detailed as vanilla Warhammer, and shooting is actually a thing.
Plays well, although battles tend to take a bit longer to play.
