So I've done the high lighting (and finished the eyes and mouth off), So I think other than the base it's finished. The rider is currently base coated but I got obsessed with the dragon so didn't get any further yet. Will prob go back to him this weekend.

Ill try my hand on a couple of spare bases before trying basing the dragon. Not done it before so it's all still a bit like magic to me.

Thanks for the reply fransotto. :) I painted the dark areas ultramarine blue then used blue ink (I guess this is the old name for a wash) then went over it with ultramarine blue again. With the light area I used white then blue ink then Enchanted blue then dry brushed on white. So for the high light...
