I will be home tomorrow (Finally) and I intend to get it finished in the few days following. I apologise to my secret santa and the c...

Re: Caradryal's Host - First bat rep with new list
Had a game against lizzies today which was a steep learning curve. We played ETC format so i made some slight list changes for the game Lords Prince Giant blade, Dragon Armour, Enchanted Shield, Barded Steed, Dawnstone, Archmage (Life) Lvl 4, Dispel Scroll, Elven Steed, Khaines Ring of Fury Heroes N...

Re: Caradryal's Host - First bat rep with new list
Don't you think BoWD would be better on Lions? And giving Obsidian Lodestone to your Archmage. This way you get a 3++ vs magic on DP, and a 2++ for Lions, protecting them from things like banishment or other killy spells. And congratulations for the win! Nice battle report. Interesting idea and it ...

Re: Caradryal's Host - First bat rep with new list
After battle thoughts I was fairly pleased with the list in this match up. I feel the list suits my play style and I love having the formidable unit in the form of the High Elf cavalry bus. As I mentioned at the start of the report I was quite pleased with how the deployment went down and having sev...

Re: Caradryal's Host - Cavalry or not?
Hey Folks Had the first test of this new list today against Coven of Light Empire. I also cannot use battle chronicler for my report today as I cannot install it on my macbo...

Re: Caradryal's Host - Cavalry or not?
Looks like a fun list to play :D I'd personally chip some points of here and there (maybe dropping the eagle, and/or running a naked Drakemaster) to beef up the WL, but other than that, the list looks great. Ah, and Drakedudes are only allowed magic waepons and armour, so no lotions and potions for...

Re: The Warlock of the Black Tower - List Idea
Thank you for your thoughts. I think you may be correct on the shooting issues and I had the same fears myself. My thoughts were that I had enough mobile chaff to see off other armies chaff which would somewhat eliminate the need for shooting. How about something like the following? Lords Prince Gia...

Re: Do We Need Dispel Scrolls With A Book AM?
Although a scroll is nice against that game breaking spell, I don't believe it is strictly necessary alongside a book AM.
A book AM can generally get away with throwing less dispel dice than his opponents power dice and more often than not can even cancel out an opponents phase with good planning.

Re: How would you "fix" shadow warriors?
I'd like to see them with a special rule against Dark elves at least. I mean the dark elves are meant to fear them no?
I think one of devastating charge/armour piercing or AHW's would make them a lot more worthwhile.

Re: Well, another Warhammer Project goes to bed
Shame,
I think its biggest problem was that it was never as good as World of Warcraft its main competitor. I really wanted this game to do well in fact I switched from WOW to AOR when it came out but within a months I was back on WOW as it's far superior in many ways

A level 1 fire mage will definitely give you some bang for the buck. Magic in such small points games is even more useful than in the larger games in my experience.

The Coven of Light Revisited
Great to see you back Brewmaster! The list looks like a lot of fun and the Everqueen's + 8 to cast buffs with the banner is awesome :) Congratulations on the first win, it was a lot of fun to read. I was also disappointed by the relatively defunct coven build now and I have moved away from it (at le...
