Any new updates on Sister bits conversions you alluded to, or any conversions for that matter?

Re: 9th highborn musings(now with .99 discussion!)

"i was just swamped with medium sized units, redirectors, monsters, ambushers, scouts and vanguards!" If I can assume you were playing Beastmen, I would not feel to bad. I have yet to beat my regular opponent with my HBE vs his Beasts. Far to much target saturation with high toughness and ...

Re: Multiple Combat - Fleeing

Interesting Bashtrigger, I can even see support this with the faq on page 10. Q: At what point after a unit has been wiped out do any characters remaining count as having left the unit? (p101) A: As soon as the last model from the unit has been removed, any remaining characters will count as a new u...

Re: Multiple Combat - Fleeing

@teledor That was for sure our first question in this whole situation. We decided yes he stays in combat, though even on that I am not 100% on either. For my example I could have ignored the character all together and just said 1 lone Black Guard remained to simplify my question of fleeing. I wouldn...

Re: Multiple Combat - Fleeing

My two step diagram didn't clearly show how I think clean up would have happened to maintain the BSB fight with Swordmasters. This should clear that up. http://i895.photobucket.com/albums/ac158/msu117/postcombat2_zpsa014204e.png~original @Dalamar The Black Guard unit was completely destroyed leaving...

Multiple Combat - Fleeing

Had a question about multiple combats and fleeing direction come up. Please mind the crude paint drawings and troop number and combat rez in no way represents actual numbers. Basically though it was a match up of DE vs HE. A Black Guard unit containing a BSB was in combat with Phoenix Guard to the f...

Re: Wood Elves Rumours/Speculation?

After looking at the beautiful DE female sorcerer and these new female Sisters of the Thorn all I can see in Sisters of Avelorn are some cheap toys whittled from a stick with a pocket knife.

Mainly talking about the head/faces. Yay for more Alarielle head swap options

So far every thing is looking fantastic. My only criticism at the moment would be the picture quality and simply not enough of them. Keep snapping away. Re: 2500 Cav and Lions

@hero. No I am not set on the white lions. I chose them initially to add some killing potential perhaps over phoenix guard. As I have yet to play with the list yet so alot of this is speculation. I will really have to adjust to the cavalry heavy aspect of army vs prior experience with 3 or 3+ units ...

Re: 2500 Cav and Lions

I have yet to play a game with the new book so far and unfortunately it may be a week or more before I can. Just in the brain storming phase. As far as the archers go, I have always found a small archers unit nice to have but in this list I wanted a small unit to hang back with the bolt throwers and...

Had to dig for it but the blue body reminded me of this by Ana at chest of colors. Aim high and try a base like this :) Mottled earth like browns with blueish ice features. http://chestofcolors.com/gallery/anas-works/other-miniatures/miniature/image/epic-thagrosh-the-messiah-of-everblight/ Cheers

Re: Tinman's plog - painting again...

The old color highlight triangle trick to keep from focusing your eye is unfortunately not even possible with the model i dont think. Was hoping the model might have a belt buckle or something for a third dab of ...

Re: Plog: Slaaneshi Warhost of Darion the Wolf: Updated 1/4

I see the reason for color change up now. Had forgotten you posted #1 as a character and was instead thinking champion and now musician. Still prefer character colors but would have to think about how subtly distinguish him as a character if the same color scheme was used for his unit.

Re: Plog: Slaaneshi Warhost of Darion the Wolf: Updated 1/4

Strongly in favor of 1st model. Deep purple/wine color on barding looks much better than bone imho. The splash bone on smaller area chain looks ok but go with the purple for horse larger flat area barding. When i look at crusher 1 i see the whole model and a nice balance of eye poping color. crusher...

I would positively say that is your best flesh tone and character depth in the face to date. Can't wait for more.
