Some more info from the novel (again, thanks to people at Warseer). This will probably differ from ET book.
SPOILERS wrote:How does Tyrion react to his brother's idiotic demise?
It just says it's "a terrible burden to bear and one he was determined to avenge". Tyrion then kills Mannfred (who killed Gelt). Later on, he stands hand in hand with Alarielle and are then swallowed by the rift.
...
Malekith, Tyrion, Alarielle
Just an act of kindness of his part. He has been becoming more noble as this storyline advances. By the time we get to the final encounter he is a new Elf. That act was utterly selfless, symbolising the Witch King's transformation into an effective Eternity King. I think it surprised everyone. Sigmar even tries to pull him out from below the rocks when Archaon intervenes.
The White Dwarf saves Malekith earlier and its like they're still the best mates they were from millennia ago.
Malekith's death is unconfirmed. Tyrion and Alarielle spend a night together off screen. Presumably bumping uglies. Or, since they're Elves, bumping pretties.
...
After Malektih's legs are crushed: "Malevolent laughter echoed about Malekith ... then the laughter faded and only the darkness remained"

Imrik
Leads the first elf army to clash with the third host of khorne led by Ka'bandha on the border of Athel Loren
He charges the largest greater demon he can see (Ka'Bandha himself i guess),but on the impact the star lance simply shatters without doing anything. Then the bloodthirster backhands him to the ground.
Then, while he's in pain on the ground, the demon tells him that he should be killed on the spot but since a)he's not one of those he's hunting b)his soul is already claimed by Slaanesh and c)he actually managed to strike a blow,he'll let him go for the moment.
The army gets destroyed
Not sure if he's seen after that.
Eldyra
Vlad tries to convice her to embrace Vampirism as a gift, since he feels a sort of paternal love for all the scions of the von Cartsein bloodline...Even when he thinks turning her was an error made by Mannfred.A masterfully made error, since he turned to undeath a thing that would know nothing of it normally but still..
When he doesn't manage to do so,he take her to her cousing (Tyrion),thinking that maybe he can do that.
Tyrion takes Eldyra a few paces away from Vlad and they start talking, while Vlad is distracted by Karl Franz.
Then,Tyrion takes Sunfang and beheads Eldyra.Vlad tries to stop him but is stopped in turn by KF.
Enraged,he ask the elf why he did that. The answer, from a pained Tyrion,is simply that she asked him to.
This obviously contradicts what we already knew was the destiny of Eldyra as told in ET:K
Why is Eldyra in the book? Wasn't she turned into a goddess?
/Fresh off Twitter from Josh Reynolds/
Eldyra's presence in The Lord of the End Times is what we, in the biz, like to call a '***** up.' Mostly on my part, I think.
See, what happened was, I included her in the book because I thought her final fate hadn't been covered by anyone else, and I thought it wasn't exactly fair to turn her into a vampire in the first book and then never mention her again. Too, the fifth ET book was pretty light on female characters. So, I put her in, and decided to give her and Tyrion a last moment for some (probably unnecessary) pathos. Just to twist the knife a bit before the end.
What I didn't *know* at the time, was that she'd been turned into a goddess in ET: Khaine. I didn't find that out until after this book was already at the printers. By the time I learned about it, it was too late to hack those bits out.
Frankly, it was my fault for not triple-checking. Just like leaving out Alith Anar and Skarsnik. It's filed under 'Things I Could Have Done Better If I'd Had The Time'.
That said, you can always make the case that she's not really Eldyra, but rather what's left of Eldyra after Lileath snatches her soul and deposits it in the Haven. An undead husk of the last princess of Tiranoc, desperately seeking absolution from the one person she trusts to give it to her.

Chaos
Dechala marches with Sigvald's army. She then fights Tyrion inside Middenheim, and takes a Sunfang to the breast
-Mordrek fights Valten. At the end the chaos gods seem to be distracted by something,or lose interest in his fight since the fate of Valten is elsewhere,so when the killing blow from Ghal maraz comes, the count's armor falls to the ground, empty
-Valnir the reaper has a fight with Wulfrik the wanderer.Wulfrik wins (making extra sure that when he chops away Valnir's head,he does that for real). Then,he duels Valten (yep, recurring thing) and he's killed
-Azazel fights Sigmar while he's trying to get Ghal Maraz back, taunting him about their shared past. Then Sigmar gets his full power back and things don't go well fo rthe prince of plasure
-Arbaal the undefeated fight Caradryan and it's the latest victim of "off with his head".Still,he manages to wound the flame-powered incarnate. The phoenix also kills the giant fleshound
-van Horstmaan...The book just says that "some of the greatest of the world have died, like Zacharia the everliving, while other like Van Horstmann have been consumed by the tides of madness and war"
-Hellbrass is still taking his time in Kislev (i suppose that's a reference to him showing up in the G&F book)
A few name mentioned in passing add to that the fact that Valten also slays Surtha Lenk (a SoC character),Engra Deathsword (seems he was really alive after all) and a few other champions that i can't place anywhere (probably minor characters from newer editions of the WoC books) while searching for Archaon.
