Absolutely. I did these 3 up as golden eagles. I have a couple that are larger, and a couple that are smaller. They types will be chosen accordingly.

So 18 NG, a small white lion to be used as a unit filler, and the unreleased HE mage all finished. Except I ran out of matte varnish. So tomorrow I will take care of that, put them on their bases, and hopefully get some pictures. I seem to get going well on the HE right now. Unexpected, but I"ll take it.

No pictures of the goblins yet. One of them needs a banner and I'm procrastinating on it.

Unreleased mage from the late 90s. Kind of a weird model

Loin, and his unit. I'd shown the unit before, but I did find two more models that weren't in any of the cataloges as far as I can find. Hoping they didn't do the same with the swordmasters of this age....

Ha! Those old White Lions, really rocking that "you shall not pass" vibe :D The kitty is a bit of an awkward model?

Ja, those WL are morrison sculpts. I still really prefer the goodwin elves I think. Anyway, I did some basing today. Also nearly finished those plastic shadow warriors. I'll just post a few pictures. I think the folder is public if people want to see more. If it's not I can make it so.

Nice collection of models. Some great old models in there. And lovely painting. Nothing over the top but clean and natural colors. I like them. You have been busy. :)

My first thought when I read this was "you can never have too many eagles". But I'm guessing 4 is about as many as you really need ;)

Thanks, for white horses I thought I did pretty well on those. It's a really cool model.

And here are the long procrastinated plastic shadow warriors. I like them. I think they will even be used as the heros next time I use shadow warriors in Mordheim. That's hard to say for a guy who wants to like everything metal best. At some point I'll put pictures of all the shadow warriors over the years in the gallery thread. For now, here are these.

I'm sort of considering redoing the metal models for my outlaws warband (the key 3 anyway). They are some of my favorites, and I've improved a lot over they last 6 years.

I like them. The scheme works very well on them. They look suitably gritty and bad-ass. They make me want to rush out and buy some :)

They are the 2nd plastic set that I've really liked. The first was the steam tank. The lack of weight still bothers me though. I'm going to do the other 5 from the box as sisters of avelorn or whatever they are called. We'll see what I think of those when I'm finished. But that might be awhile. I've got 9 goblins, 19 Orcs, and a couple marienburg guys on the table right now. After those hopefully it'll be time for some oldish elves again.

I used to stick coins under my 40K bases. It can help a little.

Nice painting Shannar. I especially like the blue bits, good contrast.

Time to show off the Night Goblins. A few near the end aren't really good for Mordheim, but I got addicted to Kev Adams goblins so i collected the 1992 ones.

And the start of the Orc Warband. Technically that list uses squigs and fanatics as well, but I think I'd rather stick to independent night goblins, and use Orcs, with just goblins to support them.

These are some very nicely painted models and of course its hard not to love the classic Stone Troll! =D>

I traded my Grom awhile back. If i hadn't I'd paint it up, just because you are right about that. I sort of regret it, but I really don't need chariots for my orcs and goblins as they are supposed to stay in mordheim.

I can just see Grom's chariot tearing through the warpstone-filled streets!

I've got some orcs of the same vintage you've been working on in progress, and then probably some forest goblins. I did also pick up a bunch of Norse for a good price, so I expect to have a norse warband coming soon.

They certainly are. I remember an army list in the original Ravening Hordes and I believe there was a 3rd Edition list in White Dwarf.

I think if I had to choose one sculptor per race it would be Jes Goodwin for elves, Kev Adams for goblins, and the Perrys (I guess that's two...) for Humans.

Of course. I use reaper paints so I don't know if it's any use to you.

Deep Ocean is the base, and I worked it up with Marine Teal and Surf Aqua

I really like them. They're very happy and malicious models. The sort of crowd who have a good time at a party and then wreck the place before they leave... And the paint job works well on them.

So clearly i've slowed down a bit. But I'm still making decent progress. Here are a few reinforcements for my marienburgers, and a bunch of orcs. I'm going to give them some squigs, herders and fanatics after all. Doing so gives me a decent squig herd for a WFB army...
