Thread now up for Winter War, Dunfermline, Scotland in November. I used to live in Dunfermline, funnily enough!

Are you going to any of these mate? I'm on the look-out for T9A ones which aren't a) miles away, b) fully booked or c) on my blooming anniversary weekend ;). So far I'm drawing a blank, so will have a browse through these to see if I can get my fix :)

Small friendly event, I played the last one in May. Good mix of armies and skill levels. 2-hr drive for me, not too bad, closer to 3 for you I guess? Would be great to see you there.

Well bad news, the Northampton event has been cancelled as the host shop is closing down. Mark the TO promises future tournaments once he can sort out a new venue. There is now another event the week after in Loughborough though:

I'm weighing up between this and the Worcester one.

He's now got one, I'm keeping my eye on the Champions of Destiny TWF thread linked above for updates.

Also, TWF thread now up for the September 24th Loughborough tournament:

There are several events that might materialise soon RE. Warwick, Northampton, possibly North East England. The nascent national league is starting up. But Stirling is the most concrete statement of intent so far.

I wish them all the best! The were a couple of 8th events in 2016 in Poland, now it seems to be all T9A. I don't play tournaments, so it doesn't really affect me, though - my 8th (and a half) ed campaign is going strong in vacuum

Looks like a fun format. Bonus monsters and allies should mix things up nicely. Are you going? Any idea on what you're likely to bring?

Unfortunately, none I’m aware of DK. Google tells me though that Worcester is an hour from Bristol and 90 minutes from Cardiff (my journey is 2 1/2 hours). I can plug it unreservedly. Nice people, space around the tables, good mix of armies.
