Dark Heaven Legends

#1 Post by Lady Phoenix »

Are the figures for Dark Heaven Legends compatible with WHFB.

Ive found a fantastic figure that I feel will go well with my army and Im thinking of buying it. It will need a little converting, but its nice.

There are a few figures that I feel I could convert into different scenarios, such as on foot, riding a dragon, riding an elven steed etc etc

Is there a list anywhere of what figures are compatible with which games, in terms of sizes?

The reaper figures tend to be a little smaller than the newest high elves (which are a fair bit taller than the older HE). But I use a lot of Reaper stuff in my mordheim warbands. The models are really nice, and the price is crazy good. I'd say on average they are 90% percent as good (there are some really bad ones though) as a GW model for about 1/10 the cost. And a few I actually like better than most of my GW stuff. For female sculpts I'd look at reapers range before GWs every time.

The only downside is the "rank and file" selection is very small, so they're best used for heros after picking out which ones match the look of your army, or in a small skrimish game. Or for roleplay games (which is what they were originally made for).

hi,

i think buying directly from reaper is expensive due to postage to uk though? its ages since I checked for myself though...

also the following website stocks a large range of reaper models and is EU based, prices are the same but postage should be cheaper.

death is lighter than a feather, duty heavier than a mountain

do an rpg personality test, im from Ireland and I get...

Agree. The scale can be different some times. If you look at some of the figures on the site though they have little triangles along the side of the image. IIRC I think these mark off an inch (so roughly 25 mm) of height in terms of the model so you can look at the scale.
