Mordheim Video Game
This had better be real. And it better be good. And if I have to I'll get a new stinking computer to play it.

Oohh, good find. The artwork looks pretty good already. I'm all excited already (even if there isn't much to go on).
Edit: seems real enough. A quick google search gives plenty more hits. It should be available on: PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One. See also http://paranerds.com/?p=14788. Suggested release is end of 2014.

I agree, I saw it on bell of lost souls first and then did some googling. It's just to close to April 1 for me to be 100% confident on something that I'm THIS excited about.rdghuizing wrote:Oohh, good find. The artwork looks pretty good already. One of my club mates posted a link to it on FB last week, I was dubious, I really like pushing my models around the table ^_^

Me too. But it might be a way to still get some games in with the group while I'll off in switzerland for example.

Time to bump this one. Early access is up: http://mordheim-cityofthedamned.com/earlyaccess/ (probably has been for a while, but I don't follow games news that closely...).
It's looking fun.

Re: Mordheim Video Game
I bought into the early access. The game looks great, the look and feel of the artwork is spot on, in my opinion.
Gameplay-wise, I think it still needs a bit of tweaking. The skirmish mode they currently offer feels kind of sluggish, to me. Probably more tweaking is necessary. Ranged weapons seem too weak. Two warplock pistol shots to the face should down most warriors.
I'm looking forward to the single-player campaign mode, as I don't think playing this online against a random person is as fun as playing a tabletop version.

Re: Mordheim Video Game
I've just started on the early access. What I'll eventually be looking to do if get games in against specific people online. I played the table top game with collage friends a fair bit, it would be fun to get some games in with them again.
