Glittering Host Battalion

#1 Post by Cinncinatti »

Has anyone tried out the Glittering Host Battalion? I haven't given it much thought until recently. Seems like it would be a great battalion to try out for an MSU style list. You could get two consecutive pile ins on one unit before they ever attack back. Given the nature of AoS combat, MSU is hard to accomplish outside of this battalion in my mind.

Anyone have any ideas of what units you could bring to compliment it? I'm thinking additional cavalry for the increased maneuverability, allowing you to get into great position for a combined charge. You could overwhelm the flanks fairly easily as long as your opponent doesn't have great battleshock mitigation on their peripheral.

I haven't tried Glittering host yet but it sounds fun. the double pile in is awsome and also I would have some wizards and teclis complimenting the glittering host becuase you can mystic shield your units to be really hard to kill that way!
