Nice reports ![]() like you, i don't know much about the tomb kings, but i fail to see the logic in commiting so many ressources for a single monster and letting you take the brunt of the fighting alone. Think of the result if it wasn't mindless gors (no offence meant, they just match a simple and determined chase) and they would have focused on you while the tomb kings where out of range for any help at all. It wouldn't have be pretty for you. The stand off between hammerers and greatswords was epic. Quite lucky for you that they broke, being stubborn and ld 9, but epic non the less. The anvil is a pain, and there is no easy way of getting rid of it, so you did well under the circumstances. Had they waited to roll for the miners, or did they only turn up on chance that turn?? Thanks for taking your timing dealing this with us, and yes, i too feel like talking to myself when writing a report (having two laying about for months now) |

For the second game, I failed to mention there was objectives to hold the most hills, so ya it does change a bit the dynamics. ![]() ![]() For the third game, greatsword were also stubborn with a good Leadership, so they weren`t going anywhere either. I wish I recalled more details but it was`nt my army. I know that warpriest was the key with his buffs for them to get the upper hand. And yes, the miners only turned up on a chance that turn. We had completely forgot about them on our side. I imagine it could have been worse if they were able to join the big battle earlier on. I`m not sure either on what happened with the rest of all theses Empire unit lagging behind, the 1st turn was a mess on that side. At any rate, that dwarf player was a tough nut to crack, I don`t think I would have been able to take him on, he gave us a run for our money. ![]() |
