Wow that was a proper nasty Daemon list, properly executed, too! I think you defeated yourself here by not being flexible enough with your style of playin. Knowing you're up against two BotWD/deathstar-beating spells I'd have probably tried to spread out the characters; one unit of Reavers could've housed your Archmage, and a character could go in each bus. That way, he doesn't get three attempts at destroying an important character with every successful "big" spellcast.

Mind you, you may have gotten slaughtered anyway, but who knows? Thanks for persevering and posting the final report

Hey all, thanks again for the replies.

Ele - I enjoy elven flying armies, but at least you took one for the team and will be taking on the gun lines.

Struthy - Yeah it was always going to be a hard game I knew that. Would've been nice to get a tournament win up with my first go at the 8th ed book.

Strike - yeah he is a decent player. Ah that would explain why I don't recall seeing them around early on that day. If he had played his game he probably would have stretched further away from me anyway.

Stormie - wow, to be honest I had never thought about splitting my characters up. That probably would've changed my opponents game plan hugely and might have just worked for me. Like you said who knows what could've happened. I am hoping to get to a lot more tournaments this year and get some placings under my belt.

I will be attending this event next year with more from my club and hope to see you there again, have a list that I think will work better for me next time as I found that what I ran just did not have the legs to get me there in a realy close tournament (at least for 2nd and 3rd).

Hey Strike, good to see you will be back to the event third year running (?). At this point I can't see myself making it back there again but I really hope to (never say never). As for the list I find most Asuryan lists competitive these days but I will probably look at taking something like the Coven.
