P&M Showcase: Cavalry Characters

#1 Post by SpellArcher »

Welcome to the next Painting and Modelling Showcase. The category for this showcase is Cavalry Characters.

The goal of the painting showcases is to let people show off their painted units, beasts and characters. New, old, ancient, alternative, newly painted or vintage - everything goes. And it's not just newly painted models, but all models painted over the years are welcome.

So, share some pictures with us of your models and perhaps a pointer or two how you achieved the painting results.

So this is my newly-converted BSB (he's not even finished!). An old 3rd edition dude who used to be Champion of my Silver Helms. I picked him because I was pleased with how I'd done the detail. He's a bit small but the banner helps with that.

The gold brings a kind of warmth to your guys Myth.

This guy is in fact a unit standard bearer but my Cavalry Prince isn't done yet! The model is 3rd edition like most of my stuff. The horse was a 'General's Horse' variant Jes Goodwin produced. The Draco is I think Miniature Figurines. Shield from LOTR Rohan Royal Guard.

Thanks! I really liked painting the model - it has that napoleonic feel to it
