Need help with unit filler ideas

Hey guys, currently moving over to Kings Of War and I'm currently running a LOT of archers (they're actually decent in KoW)

One of my units is a 40 Man Horde, 10 wide, 4 deep as normal.

I don't have any painted and the prospect of painting 80 archers is killing me, as a result I'd like to a unit filler into my horde unit.

Preferably taking up 8 models (4 wide, 2 deep) or maybe 12 models (3x 40mm square scattered in the unit)

I lack any sort of imagination or creativity however, so I need help from my fellow Elves.

Do any of you have any nice unit fillers already? Or can anyone suggest anything I could use?

I'm thinking 3 waystones or a fallen over waystone, would it work?

Good news, 10 wide, 4 deep is only 40 archers

Fillers. The usual suspects come to mind. Fallen over waystone indeed works. Anything with elves stabbing DE to pieces is always good. Some animal stuck to a base, in case your army has a theme with animals in it (lions, mini dragons, eagles etc). Ammunition racks (which are dead-simple to make). Anything related to your army theme. Army tent. Rocks. Guys on rocks. Statues. Ruins. Guys in Ruins. Trees. (Guys in trees is probably a bit odd... )

Thinking outside the box, how about simply mounting a RBT on a square base (2 by 2 or 2 by 3). It can then simply double as a RBT if you don't need the filler, giving you some extra utility. Along this line, you could also use the boltthrower guy from the skycutter (if you have it lying around) for a conversion, defending a wall with his small boltthrower.

It's only one unit of 40, the others are in 2 units of 20

Just an update incase anyone was interested.

I asked the terrain company Dream Spirit terrain if they could come up with some unit fillers using modified versions of the terrain they already had made up, they agreed and these are the results:

I always wanted to do command group filler (60 x 40) where there would be war lions from lion chariot other for champ and other for standard, then musician in the back.

And since it's KoW there aren't any problems that come from having your command on unit fillers like there could be in warhammer.
