Painting with your kids..

#1 Post by Peepster1976 »

Since there are a lot of dads on this forum. I thought i opened a topic like this.

My kids are very young still, but the oldest (3,5) likes it when her dad paints.
So she could pick the colour of my new dragon..... blue and pink of course. She painted the blue herself (base, so the whole dragon) and the white on the wings and the red wash on the wings. Dad the detailsand the high lights of course still work in progress.....

It's the MANTIC dragon. Its soft plastic, and easy to glue. So she can carry it and drop it as much as she likes..... kidproof miniature!!
(Hence my earlier kid-dragon experiences :? :( ......see PLOG)

How are other dads doin this? with older kids? are kids easily drawn into the hobby?

Grtzz

PS: Because Im a dad myself, mind the privacy and stuff.

Seems the age of my girls is similar to yours - 3.5 and 1.
I did not paint a single miniature since the first ones birth, but i'm preparing to start again soon.

There is one real reason for me to answer - i am deeply impressed of what your girl accomplished on the dragon. For 3.5, that is extremely good.

That gives an all new perspective on cmon-ratings...
A cmon 3 is what a 3.5 year old girl can do

Honestly... You can be proud of your little one. But you know that
