A Unique idea with a very beautiful model!! You could also make a winter theme with it if you like(cause it count as a frosty) with snow, vines and crystalls!!

Hey! So I've neglected this for... well a long long time, shame on me. To return to posting stuff though a shift from Asur to Asrai! I am in an Escalation League, and here is my 500pt Wood Elf force.

Agree with the guys, some very creative stuff here!

Particularly like the Handmaiden concept.

Looks good! I like the conversion on the spellsinger. Sisters of the thorn staff on a dark elf sorceress?

Any chance for a pic of the Hobbit elves (waywatchers) next to the glade guard for a size comparison? I've been thinking of getting some and want a better idea of the size comparison.

Yep Spellsinger is Dark Elf Sorceress with Sister of Thorn staff and Glade Guard cape.

I will try and get some pics up as you request.

So, some painting updates after a stupidly long hiatus. Sadly none of it is fantasy, but once I finish up my current army focus my High Elves are back on the painting desk.

First up is my Eldar Harelquin Solitaire

And behold Inquisitor Who, the Ordo Chronos Inquisitor for my Sisters of Battle.

Love the Harlequin model. How do you manage to stop it from falling over? it looks like it should be very unstable... The painting on it is great, with good attention to detail.

And the inquisitor is a great idea. I like the details you managed to get in the face. For me these details never looks this good.

So thank you for sharing. And I'm looking forward to your return to HE ;)

It's actually surprisingly stable, because the Marine leaning back is positioned so that the center of gravity on the model is still where it would be with a single model. (If that makes any sense).

So I have decided to skip ahead and get back to High Elves, but I am trying to figure out what color to use for my Dragon Princes. With a primarily light green and white colorscheme I don't know what color to do. I don't want to do more green, because I feel that it will make it all very monocolor. So I need a color for Dragon Price armor that will compliment the army. Research on color wheels says purple, but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that. Input from more color minded people is appreciated.

The same yellow metal that's on some of your other models?

I'm a huge fan of reddish metals, they must be an option.
