Drake/Small Dragon Miniatures to "Count As" Great Eagles

Im planning of starting a dragon themed High Elf army & looking for suitable miniatures to represent Great Eagles

Any ideas/links/suitable miniatures would be most appreciated

Has anyone used the reaper minis dragons? specifically the young dragons for size? or pics of the GW 1's

The reaper young ice dragon is about 2 inches tall and 3 inches long. I assume the others are a similar size. On the store page for the mini, scroll down to the boneyard pictures and they have the different parts next to a measuring tape.
I own the GW drakes and they're a bit small, but not so small that people will complain. I'd take a photo, but they're in a box at my parents' place...

In your opinion would the young dragons make a suitable replacement for the great eagles??

Yes, I think they would. If you plan on going to events and tournaments though, check that they allow non GW models. Most do, but GW stores and GW-run events don't.
