Ok, this is what I'm working on right now, a unit of Reavers. I started for the end this time, I mean bases and a tray;p
I'll add flowers, grass and leaves on Reavers bases after I varnish them.
Meanwhile, as I said in post above, I've got some other projects "on way" too;)
I know it's nothing to show here, but still, I want to show I'm still in the game hehe.
After reavers, I will finish a high level project, I hope you will like it;)

Quick question.
Why did you use black undercoat for the reavers (latest) and a white one for your SH?

Reaver movement tray is awesome, as is pretty much all your work.
More fitting for seaguard but its not that out of place for reavers.

Sea coast is my army theme, that's why I used it on reavers too.

Blackundercoat....that is the pain in ass, but I bought them already black undercoated.
I don't have time right now to wash them and undercoat white. Another positive aspect, reaver's horses are black, so I don't really have to paint them ( I hate painting horses!!!).
But nonetheless, effect is satisfying, I ll post a photo soon of first test reaver.

Feel free to ask!;)

All of my stuff is primed black, GW don't make a white primer, except that stuff in a can, but I like my models a lot darker.

Well, I almost always paint on white undercoat, because colors look much brighter and I'm used to it;p
It's very hard to achieve satisfying yellows, whites, etc colors whitout painting many layers.

Novel Malekith, description is thus:
From nothing it sprang, hovering without fuel over the middle of the chamber, burning blue then green then red then golden, shifting color every few moments. It gave off no heat...
Chapter 25.

So, go for broke.

Hmm, so probably I'll go traditionally for red:D
But blue seems good to me too.
Well, I bought this novel in German to practice my language skills and it motivated me and inspired me to make a Chosen of Asuryan project:)

Every time you pose something new I get amazed at how bright and vivid the colours are. The painting is absolutely spectacular.

I have one question though: why is the horse running into the sea?

Its just guarding the shore from a DE invasion, dont you guys see how the rider shoots to the sea? obviously onto those nasty DE raiders.. .

Looks really nice, but after that godly BSB you painted i think you are gonna have to paint EVERYTHING in the same fashion if you are expecting any more praises from me (and maybe finish your army in the next 20 years) .

I really cant get my mind off those ugly, gigantic donkey heads they sculpted for these, otherwise, awesome reaver models  .

Please dont judge my army wide models compering to the heroes. I will not paint unit with my highest level because it would take ages. I just want to have a nice looking army with center pieces which are heroes.

But I know what you mean, trust me, soon you will have a chance to complain about quality and it will be very apreciated;)

Umm so you are going to paint something very special soon? Nice.. I cant wait to see it =).

Hehe sorry about the pun, was only giving you shit, but is it possible to see it differently? that BSB may be one of the best, if not the best, model ever published in these forums!

Thank you, it motivates to work even harder;)
And yes, I'm beginning another project between reavers, Blood of Aenarion gave me an idea, I'm gonna paint this caradryan conversion from page 2 of my blog as a Chosen of Asuryan.
Everything is planned and already began, I want to see myself how he will turn out:D

I also bought a new Tyrion model on eBay and I ll convert him to my new horse BSb, so another big freehand is coming, but it will take some time.

What about you, are your dragon princes finished?;) I can't wait to see the final result!

I'm thinking your Anointed conversion is going to look badass.

As for the flames....well they are naturally amazing and I am naturally jealous.

It was the same kind of statement as "dwarves are somewhat short". Couldn't resist. :) It looks great already. Perhaps a little more contrast on the flames?

This is what I mean  I will work on fire glowing effects so I might add more contrast to the flames. Probably the deeper red color will make it more realistic.
And I will take another photo, this one I made at 5.45am before work, I was sleeping making them honestly xD That's why it's so blurry.

Last question, I want to make my champion more sinister then normal elf heroes so far.
That's why dark red armour. Also details and so one will be painted with gold nmm, same as on sword.
My question is about clothes and robe - black or white, I can't decide what will look better (Black is a pain in ass to paint well :? ).

@ Tinman, or what you can see below is the material of the weapon itself (darker) and the flame is hottest where it meets the enemy. It makes sense to me as well. Or perhaps it is even possible to apply both. Hehe.

Galharen, why not dark blue?
