Has anybody seen maybe some phoenix toys or something? :)
Considering your skill at painting, im sure you'd make a fine journeyman GS sculptor.

About phoenix toys.. There are high chances for them to look better than GW's latest crap...

EDIT: have you seen this http://www.ulthuan.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=45933? (griffon-phoenix)

Ok, I managed to buy bits from phoenix box so I'm going to convert IoB griffon into ice phoenix :)
Additionally, I got the new noble/silver helm model.
I can't wait to see the phx done;)

how do you attach a model to a cork securely enough that it doesnt start to spin after a while?

dragon looks great btw.
For the dwarfs, there was only this. Hammerson met Grombrindal’s gaze, and the White Dwarf nodded slowly. If it must be done, let it be done well. Whether they were dead or alive, that was the only way dwarfs knew how to do anything.

And Grombrindal said "10 from the back, yeah?"

I now wish I had taken the time to move the talons to the back like you did. I had to save the integrity of the project by posing my flamespyre such that it is swooping in on a river troll.
Well done, sir!

More silver helms are needed! :) Well, apart from my 5th edition oldschool silver helm bus, I need some more models, that's why I decided to dig trough my all bits to find some cavalry parts to build another 5 silvers. This is what I've found and made:

Image

I hope that after painting they will look more uniformed;p
I know there is a lot of different parts (even model I can say;p ) but I need to use all those bits I have before buying anything new.
In similar way I've made another unit of archers;

Image

So a lot of painting is in front of me, 10 archers, 5 silvers, 5 ellyrians and self-made frost phoenix (above), mounted archmage and I need to buy (of make myself;p) at least 1 bolt thrower

Well, not quite a painting update, but rather aerographing update;p
So I used aero to put the basic colors on my frost parrot, nothing more done so far.
I'm painting reavers now and I will back to this bird after them.

Umm i think those modifications on the phoenix make it look more agressive. Very interesting approach indeed.

Im liking that everyone who posts their phoenixes show something really unique on them heheh. Kudos to you all guys =D>
