Exactly what I've been thinking. While I wouldn't want any of what I've seen in my personal collection, I am very impressed with the skill.

=D> Excellent.
For the dwarfs, there was only this. Hammerson met Grombrindal’s gaze, and the White Dwarf nodded slowly. If it must be done, let it be done well. Whether they were dead or alive, that was the only way dwarfs knew how to do anything.

And Grombrindal said "10 from the back, yeah?"

thanks for your replies:)
But don't you have the feeling that the dragon itself is too in comics style? I heard some opinions and now I'm wondering about painting deeper shades and overall more dark atmophere - I'm not sure, because I woudn't like to ruin an effect I've already achieved.

I saw it this morning on my phone, and yea, thought it looked a little cartoonish.
More angular lines and sharp edges would make it less so, shading could be used too.

It looks cartoonish, BUT who cares! If you're eager to work on more details go for it =D> , I can't wait to see the results!
Otherwise, it's great as it is now, as well.

I added just few more shades and that's it. I'm moving on, I wanna finish him asap, I will concentrate more on freehands with my new models, maybe for selling purpose, meanwhile, I want to have my own bsb finished;)
I'm afraid it will be very though to bring him everytime into battlefield without any scratches or so, I need to figure out how to transport him carefully. If not, he will end as my display mini;p

Hm, according to some new rumours, I think I need to glue a plastic chariot (which is not assembled since few year, I just need lions;p) and to think about shadow warriors conversions.
I'm really curious what kind of MC are we getting, I hope to see drakes;)
Meanwhile, after finishing bsb, I need to get trough some bases works and archers

Really amazing work. There's also a huge difference in your painting from the white lions - well done! :)

Well, I've never tried to paint normal units with so high quality, I don't have time for this :(
But lords and heroes are worth to spend more time with them;)

Looks great, how do you paint that metal???!!!! The base is also great (and much more fancy than the Lion ones). He could stand at the other corner of the unit, the base would probably fit better.
