+1. Great model indeed. All the details just work. The only (very small) critisism might be the base. It's okay, but the demon head for instance doesn't completely work for me. It has a bit a shiny look that makes it not fit completely with the rest of the model.

The orange on the base almost looks like powder.

I like the orange on the bases. It gives a great contrast with the clean models and gives a feel of a rusty, corrupted world :)

The OSL on the master's head is great too. It's very subtle, and because of that, it makes the model really stand out somehow.

Thanks for sharing :)

As a small break of painting my Grey Knights, I decided to convert and paint an catachan tempestor with power fist. I like a lot using him in my Kill Team games, so here you have:)

Yup, i think fantasy is where your painting style really shine. Not saying your 40k is bad, rather your fantasy is top when you do it like this one!

Great tutorial. You make it look easy...

Out of curiosity, what size nozzle do you have on your airbrush?

Thanks!

Lovely model. The little details like the OSL around the green crystal thingies on the guys robe are just amazing. They really elevate the model.

I agree. It's almost as if they're two different models, depending on the back ground. Amazing painting :) Was that an intended effect or just completely accidental?

Thanks for sharing them.

Brothers, something big is coming, the Primarch Dorn from Imperial Fists is finished!
My newest commission, but due to this I got hyped by Horus Heresy totally, I started reading the HH books and I'm digging the 4th Tome already, cool story.

I prepared a showcase video which can be found here, I recommend checking it as it shows the model from every angle:
