McFarlane's dragons

#1 Post by Franc »

Saw this in my local store.
They look incredible...they are also about size of GW dragions or somewhat bigger. And are cheaper.
But they look much better.
Pure dragon awesomness!

Is there anyone who uses them in WHF?

Ive thought about it before, those Eternal Dragon clans are especially good looking.

They're very nice models, but they're made of a really soft plastic and utterly unsuited to painting and modelling. It can be done, though - Juza has a gorgeous converted McFarlane dragon in his collection, see if you can track him down!

(Juza you need to post more)

They don't have arms... which would make them excellent O&G Wyverns... They don't necessarily even need a new painting, they already look fantastic.

The four that I have are with four arms/legs. All of them are bigger than GW dragons, so they'll not fit on new dragon base (not talking about old base  ). You can repaint the dragons, you'll have to basecoat it with spray, 'cause otherwise acrylic paints will not stick to layer of the paint the beasts already have on them....
