Trying to mull over a number of different builds for a Tourney that is about two weeks away.

Combing a dragon mage (or any other caster) with the Book of Hoeth is not a good choice. If the book is working, the enemy has plenty of dice to stop the second caster. If the book is not working, you are probably screwed anyway.

Drop the Reavers for a second Eagle.

It can work decently, but remember to cast first with your Dragon Mage, BoH archmage second. Decide before your magic phase what you want to cast with your archie in order to get the spell through.
