Despite my recent post on balanced armies, I've yet to master this and so am going for what I'm familiar with. Expecting Lm (possibly with 4 stegs), daemons (unsure what set up), OnG (with gorbad but otherwise nothing unusual), dwarves (but nothing cheesy) and DE (certainly with black guard/hydra/2 RBT). Anyway:
Prince, star dragon, AoC, VoD, halberd
BSB, dragon prince eqpt, battle banner
Scroll caddy
2 lots of LSG with shields
2 lots of 7 swordmasters
Lion chariot
5 dragon princes, FC, lion standard or banner of arcane protection ,not sure
2 RBTs
1999 total
Probably nothing you guys haven't seen before, but I'm concerned it's a little on the small side. I've got 2 of all the small units but I think I'm depending too much on my prince and DP/BSB unit.
Comments and criticisms most welcome!

May I suggest Sun Dragon with Seafarer combo.
BSB in a Tiranoc with Reaver.
Change SM for Silver Helms
get another Lion Chariot
drop FC from the Princes and get two eagles.
I think you should have some more points left to jiggle.
Cheers

It doesn't look like a bad 2000pt SD list. My immediate concern is that your BSB will not get 'look out sir'.

Indeed. Generally, though, most players have low magic which is why I hope I can get away with a scroll caddy.SpellArcher wrote:Chracian wrote:

Sorry, 2 lots of 10 LSG with shields. A bit more versatile than archers.geoguswrek wrote:how many LSG?

I have to be honest, i don't like lsg in 15's, they are just so expensive for what they do (being essentially expensive short range archers). In big units, by all means go for the LSG, but i dislike the little units of these guys.

Against that opposition, I don't think the Battle Banner is the best choice. It does nothing against the stegadons and won't do much to the Dark Elves. The Daemon game will probably depend more on what type of Daemon army he fields and less on the Battle Banner. You don't need it against the others.
Re: 2k tourney w/star dragon, sorry
I'm keen to keep the BSB, so I could swap the battle banner for helm of fortune/sword of might, leaving enough points to promote a swordmaster from each unit to a bladelord and add the talisman of loec somewhere.
Or possibly helm of fortune/amulet of fire?
