Welcome the forums! I imagine english is your second language, if so you have a really good handle on it.

"Ok, we all know that dwarfs are annoying to beat with their good shooting and tough core units so I wanted to know how do you beat them????"

I'm form the US and my girl friend is from Poland and has been learning english for 1.5 years now and I have a bad habit of fixing small errors! Sorry, I correct all her college essays :P So sorry, don't mean to be insulting, just thought I could help out a bit, its the best way to improve and all :)

As to the question, yeah dwarfs are one of the toughest match ups for our poor elves but we do have a few things that could help. One of them is Teclis! But if you don't want to be so cheesy, an archmage with the book of hoeth and lore of metal. Spirit of the forge can really make a mess of a dwarf unit...

Another thing is to engage their shooting first while avoiding their blocks if possible. Shoot their war machines and missile troops. Charge their crews with eagles and advance through cover with units like shadow warriors, white lions and a unit with the banner of ellyrion. place terrain to bock lines of sight. A star dragon with a vambraces prince is also not a bad idea. he'll be hard pressed to kill it in 1 round of shooting and it can charge turn two to avoid a second.

hope these tips help. Good luck!

The worst possible scenario is when we have to charge a castled gunline.

As regards to any mistakes or alterations in the posts, they can always be made when you have the time and inclination at home. This includes the title of the thread.

But this did not surprise them, for as it is written in the Great Elven Book of Knowing: Isn't life just one bloody thing after another.
