Ulthuan's End Times Pen and Brush Competition
Posted: Fri Dec 12, 2014 2:20 pm
Endtime painting and modelling competition - entries till 31st March!
As we all know, Games Workshop didn't give us any awesome model with the End Times: Khaine book. We got precisely nothing. But when did it ever stop us from having awesome models anyway?
We therefore open a competition for painters and modellers as well. Show us your very own End Times models and bring a fetching title with you to Athel Loren or wherever it is your characters are going in these trying times. Or stay here as we do. Ulthuan shall never fall.
What is at stake?
Forum title of Vaul Incarnate for the winner.
A thematic poster / banner.
We may add other titles if there are enough models to open more categories.
If you want to participate, post up to five pics (finished model) to a dedicated competition thread with a short annotation or story. You may post a link for WIP pics in another location if you wish.
It will be focused on elven models of all flavours. Trees, beasts and flowers of Loren are welcome, but not neccessary.
The competition will run until March 31st, after that voting will go on for a week (ending on April 8th). Every member of Ulthuan.net will be able to vote for any number of models s/he likes.

We are very much looking forward to see the results!
The Endtime Story Competition -CLOSED

The End is always a Beginning. Many of us are still reeling from what the End Times brought to the Elves. We know the story Games Workshop gave us in their limited hard back full colour End Times book of Khaine. But what is your story? Let us on Ulthuan.net know!
We thereby announce the writing competition of our very own.
The guidlines are quite simple. Write a story happening during the End Times. It has to feature Asur in some way (not neccessarily as main protagonists, but in a meaningful way). Alternative universe (different outcome) stories are acceptable as long as they are not mere wishlisting (we will send those right to the North to an Immaterium entity known under many names, most profoundly Santa Klaus).
If you wish to participate, publish your story in the Story Telling forum in a separate thread named:
ESC (for Endtime Story Competition ): Name of the story
Post a link to the story in this thread. You may also add a short comment.
What is at stake?
A title of Ultimate End Times Chronicler.
Nice thematic banner to put into your signature.
And of course, fame amongst the Asur and beyond.
We reserve the right to give out more titles if situation warrants.
The stories can be submitted until 11th January. After that, on 12th January, voting will be open for two weeks (ending on 26th)). Every voter will be able to vote for any number of the stories s/he enjoyed.
