Druchii Invade

I decided to write a poem for a change:

Druchii Invade

Storm clouds gather,
Racing towards their glowing promise
That lights up the sky.
The dark tide comes on to traitors’ shore,
Drowning islands of fear as it goes.

Hope breaks the horizon,
Saint’d in the sun.
The great, blazing giant
Bounds across the azure plain,
Driving back the night.

But Lord Darkness refuses to yield-
He shall triumph!
He anchors himself like a rock in a flood;
Scared children cling to him.
“Back, cowards!” he strikes them
Left and right.
“You are not Druchii worthy.”
They flee, and he alone.

“Surround him!”
They flock to the blaze,
Moths to a light.
“Water! Water!”
Many are burnt,
But Lord Blaze
Is gone.
