Re: Of the Mage and the Proud Caledorian
There is true art in tea making. And not neccessarily English style tea. There are so many other kinds to be tasted, much more exquisite, truly worthy of Asur attention.
As you see, I am somewhat fond of adding leaves to my drinking water. I have friends who were involved in tea trade with China, Japan, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, India and Nepal. I ended up owning quite a few tea sets of various origins and purposes (drinking tea mainly, obviously).
I even add tea into my Christmas cookies. And no, I am not mad.

I somehow feel that this is up for debateAicanor wrote:And no, I am not mad.
Of course, it doens't have much to do with the quality of the cookies.
And yes, tea is important...

When someone of Saphery says they aren't mad, it's best to nod your head slowly in agreement.

The cookies are very good. The rest of the family already got over the fact that it's green, so they can enjoy the cookies as well.
This is why they do it? I was wondering...Elessehta of Yvresse wrote:When someone of Saphery says they aren't mad, it's best to nod your head slowly in agreement.

In Tiranoc people tend to be more blunt

They had to lose some basic survival instincts: Never mess with wizards, be polite to dragons, never laugh when Caledorians make jokes. They may be serious.
Re: Of the Mage and the Proud Caledorian
Even if it is serious its most likely laughable.

Re: Of the Mage and the Proud Caledorian
The point is, you do not laugh at them, unless you are one of the former. And in first case, reasonably far from their reach.

This thread may have inspired me to buy a tea set.

Excellent, tea is delicious.
I wonder how the caledorian would react to transformation of kadon?

Re: Of the Mage and the Proud Caledorian
Swordmaster's list for the Fluffyhammer event features a Prince who turns into a dragon and a Dragon Mage, it's aptly named the CALEDOR TASK FORCE.

I like to think that I'd like tea, even though I've never tried it. I think it's a requirement of being English.

Wait, you're English and never had Tea? Surely that's the definition of paradoxical...Elithmar of Lothern wrote:I like to think that I'd like tea, even though I've never tried it. I think it's a requirement of being English.

I guess Laicamir has in mind more of a "PUT CALEDOR TO TASK FORCE".Elessehta of Yvresse wrote:...it's aptly named the CALEDOR TASK FORCE.
Don't worry, there are so many kinds of tea you are bound to like at least one.Elithmar of Lothern wrote:I like to think that I'd like tea, even though I've never tried it. I think it's a requirement of being English.
Re: Of the Mage and the Proud Caledorian
I hope so; I don't feel very English at the moment. I do sometimes have quite a strong accent though, and I have quite strong British ideas. ^_^

Not all tea is British though

No, but the English are renowned tea drinkers.

Re: Of the Mage and the Proud Caledorian
No tea is British these days. So it is OK to drink any tea one likes.
