grimacing shadow

and fell
her face convoluted
her beauty stained.
But today,
as I breathed and sighed
the magic moment
at last arrived.
Your smile
and blue eyes
bring flowers
back to my heart.
Awakened in me
the call of nature,
breaks the seal
of utter emptiness.
