End of Days Play Thread

#1 Post by Luna Guardian »

The end had come. The world was lost in chaos and death and all values had been cast down. Everything that Man ha dhad faith in was shattered. Heaven and Hell waged war on Earth and Mankind had no place to run, no one to turn to.

In the early days of the End Times, many religious people had prayed for divine intervention. People had flocked to churches and synagogues and mosques, seeking guidance and protection. They had prayed for Heaven to open it's gates and send forth the power to drive away the darkness that now covered the land. Their prayers had been answered. The Heavenly Host came. Real, in the flesh living angels had landed outside the places of worship and people had fallen on their knees, praising the Lord. They had been butchered. Countless churches had been burned by the heavenly soldiers under the command of Archangel Raguel and the people in them had been slaughtered. Barely a handful had been left alive and unscathed, but what for, no one knew.

New Rock City, Georgia

The civil order had devolved badly. The police force, such as it was, was stretched far too thin to maintain order and uphold the law in New Rock. By daytime the streets were unsafe. By night, they were outright dangerous. Rape, pillage and robbery was commonplace. The civilians had put together posses for their own protection. Some called themselves "neighbourhood watches", others "mutual security". Most were armed gangs preying on those weaker than themselves. One such group certainly stood out. Even though relatively small, this group was organized, disciplined (sort of) and had access to specialists that helped those in the groups neighbourhood.

"More refugees tried to come into town today" said John Thomas, a medium sized caucasian man. Out of all those assembled on the group, he was the sole New Rock native. A serious man with brown hair, dark eyes and a deep voice, he knew more about the city than any of the rest, even if his training and education wasn't as useful during the Apocalypse. "The police turned 'em away of course, we can't take in any more, the resources are too few as it is" he leaned against the wall. In the room were six other people, a French gentleman by the name of Jaques-Philip Royale de Montpellier IV, a former Dutch soldier Mark den Burcht, Michael Kurtz a former member of the USAF (and his dog), a middle-aged woman Lola Sternewald, a young nurse Valeska Tadych and a teenage girl Amy Distatix. John eyed the bunch and couldn't help but smile. That such a ragtag group could keep the neighbourhood safe was remarkable. "Now, we've rationed everything and we should be good for a few more weeks, but eventually we're going to need more supplies. We've no cause to panic, the pidgeons and the hounds aren't coming here, at least not anytime soon" That was not necessarily true, but since no one knew where the angels and demons would strike next, it was useless to worry.

Mark pondered. There'd have to be a new scavenging journey soon and they would have to plan it well. It was at those times that their group was the most vulnerable, only a part left to protect the neighbourhood as another part braves the dangers outside. The Dutch wouldn't mind a change of scenery and as he could be useful with both the scavenging group and the group staying in the city, he decided to speak up.

"I'd like to participate in the next scavenging party, if no one has any objections." He said briefly and casually, as if he was offering to get groceries from the nearby supermarket. He looked around to see if any of the rest had some input.

Lola had been a bit distracted all day. As the group sat together she was braiding and unbraiding a string of hair, half listening and half letting her thoughts fly away. These thoughts were about anything beyond this current apocalyptic situation.

By now she was thinking about the girls in the group. She decided Amy would be great as a waitress or bartender in her new future nightclub. She would need some make-up to age her a bit. Her energy was perfect for this job and she figured Amy would be good at handling drunk people. Just as she was estimating Valeska's qualities as a showdancer, her ear caught the low voice of John "...the pidgeons and the hounds aren't coming here, at least not anytime soon". It threw her right back into the present. Right. Those things were something real, something on earth. She tried to view those things as being something like a very bad storm. It would pass by. What the reality was, she tried to ignore. Although she had seen them. Surreal images. She had fled like hell was chasing her. Very, very appropriate. About that whole thing she loved to be in denial (which she saw as one of her big qualities anyhow).

The voice of Mark broke her thoughts. She had to re-hear the sentence for herself to registrate what he actually said. Then the addiction-alarm made her react. A German accent never left her voice. "If you go I can come with you? I'm fine with that, I need to find cigarettes anyway."

Michael, softly scratching the top of his dog's head, waited for almost a minute for someone to break the silence after Lola's remark. Rolling his eyes and leaning forward, he finally spoke up.

"Cigarettes, huh? Glad to see we've got our priorities straight. But Mark's got a point... we might as well gather what we can before even more shit hits the fan. Count me in for the scavenging party. Now are we just gonna sit here, or are we gonna get this show on the road?"

Lola jumped up. "I'm standing. Does anyone know where we are going then? Otherwise I might know a place for cigarettes and I'm sure there will be other stuff to get there too. It's a risky place though, so maybe someone got a better one."

Lying flat on the floor in a forced attempt to restrain her mania for the moment Amy stared at the ceiling. Her mind was screaming for caffeine and action yet she didn't have the option for that kind of indulging at the time which meant that instead she was entertaining herself by listening to the leader of this bunch of so called 'lucky' survivors. Although she supposed that surviving was the best option for now. Who knows what death holds in store for us? She thought for a moment considering that neither hell or heaven was playing nice.

She let out an audible "Mmhmm.." as a simple statement of agreeing with John as the American stopped talking. She was rather surprised that this man was the only native of this city in the group but the true value to the surprise had worn off over the past few weeks. Deep inside she knew that John's words were pretty lies but she decided to take them as a substitute to the harsh reality 'till something better came up.

Next to speak was Mark who was clearly thinking progressively. Amy had a strange respect for Mark. He had been a soldier like herself which called to her in a brotherly way. She had no suspicions that this feeling was mutual and she didn't care much in the end. They fought together and without each other's help they would most likely die together.

Another girl of the group, Lola, seemed to be the next to respond. One more eager soul waiting to break free of the daily apocalyptic slur of life that seemed to hang around here, or so Amy thought. Then dogman spoke, as Amy called him in her mind from time to time. She meant it as a friendly nickname, kinda like a super hero, since she often had a hard time pronouncing Michael the way it should be pronounced.

And finally Lola's comment followed during which she jumped up. Amy smirked and got up as well. It was time to put her two cents into the conversation.

"Aye.. A scavengin' party augtha' be assembled. I'd offaer my services but as three of os are already goin' amongst which are the better part 'o the fighting crew I wonder if it'd be smart if I wer' tae stay behind and defend the fortress y'know? But I'm no' makin' the call. I'd love tae go with you tae break the boredom and grab some goodies. An' if it's a risky place.. You could use me fer sure." She said, her voice carrying a heavy Scottish accent along with a lighthearted tone.

Gosh, if I thought I had taken an accent with me from Germany, Amy puts it all in a perspective., she thought as she had thought more then once at times when Amy spoke. Such a big accent. For a waitress or bartender such an accent wouldn't be a bad thing at all. It sounded cosy and approachable.

She viewed around the room. "I'll let you all figure out who's going and where then. I'll tell you about the spot I know if you want to, but first I got to change clothing." Wandering around the streets for a mission wearing a bright red blazer and pencilskirt wasn't the best idea. She needed something she could run and kick in and something not too overwhelmingly flashy (unflashy clothes she simply didn't have). She walked in fast tiny steps out of the room towards a little space which was her sleeping place, leaving the rest behind to debate.

Mark nodded satisfied. Though they were a group of oddballs together, they were also a productive group. Of course, most of it came forth out of personal gain; a logical train of thought that followed the dire situation they were all in. The reason this group was formed in the first place was for a greater chance of survival for each individual after all. Keeping the neighbourhood sort-of safe was their last grasp of what was left of morals and humanity in these times.

Productive wasn't a synonym for reliable however. Mark had found no reason thus far to trust this lot if things went bad. First of all, he already felt a certain distance with the rest thanks to his lack of memory. They'd talk of the life before the hounds and pigeons and their hopes of that life returning one day, while his past consisted of shards of warfare and waking up on a battlefield with these mythical beings fighting their war here. The Dutch only had his skills and qualities with him nowadays, and while the others definitely had those aspects he would only rely on his own when it'd be crunch time. He also had a strong sense of duty and loyalty though. As long as someone of the group hasn't done something to damage that loyalty, he'd put effort into being a valuable member of the team.

Cracking his knuckles, Mark leaned forward and smiled at the anticipation of the scavenging mission. He always felt calm when he had a clear goal to focus on; it felt familiar.

"Looks like we've gathered a motivated party containing a capable leader, a streetwise femme fatale and an expert scout and gunman. I believe that's the best qualities you'll find nowadays, so we're in luck." He said and nodded lightly. After a brief pause he then looked at Amy. "Although I'd like to have an extra firearm backing me up, the streets still need protection. If we both leave the place it'd be total anarchy in no time most likely." the Dutch continued with a light grin.

Mark then paused for a moment before looking at the rest. "Lola's place sounds good to me. I could globally scan the surroundings in the evening for possible threats and treasures, and then we could head out tomorrow. No rush to head out right now after all. Whatever preparations we can make we should, after all."

Jaques' head was throbbing from exhaustion, depression and lack of sleep. He tried to concentrate on the point at hand, but his attention kept wandering. He was muttering to himself in French, only barely keeping track of what was being said.

The doctor looked up, before starting to speak - even dead-beat as he was, his English had only a trace of French in it.

"The hounds, they're here. The refugees have spotted them."

Eyes turned on him.
"You could not expect me to turn down requests for assistance. Even now - especially now! People need to help each other; I treated some injuries," he glared sullenly over at John, "using none of our own supplies, and they gave news. They have apparently seen the hounds very close to the city itself, some moving towards us. If you're going for salvage, be as careful as you can - thugs are no longer our only problem in New Rock. And you shouldn't smoke, Lola" he added with a rueful smile.
"There are more than enough ways to kill yourself these days already without resorting to lung cancer."

Walking towards her room, Lola stopped in her steps hearing what Mark had to say. A femme fatale, ah she loved it when someone called her that. She listened and smiled until the doctor said something she didn't like. The hounds, here. That was just fine. Couldn't those things stick to one place? She sighed.

After the comment about her smoking she smiled again, although with a fatigue and serious undertone. "Well, the last thing I'm worrying about is if i'm going to have lungcancer when I'm 50. You do not want me quitting now, I tried it once and became the biggest pain in the ass ever. Believe me! I'll be right back." With these words she disappeared into her little sleeping space. She tried to look through her bags quietly, so she could keep on listening to the conversation in the general room.

John turned to Jaques with a look that said you should've discussed this with me first "If the demons are in the city, maybe the time has come for us to leave. To my knowledge no city has survived a demonic incursion, much less a battle between the fiends and the angels." he walked across the room to look out the window "We'll do a salvage run tonight and leave tomorrow. We'll head northwest and hope to get past the two armies. Get your gear together, only the essential, pack lightly. Food, water, medical equipment and weapons take priority. Only after all these have been secured will we even consider taking cigarettes or alcohol" he looked at the group.

"Our stores are pretty well stocked, but we're low on ammo and medicine. You better split into two groups, one will get ammo and the other the medicine. I'll stay here and make sure that the trucks are ready and that no one comes looting."

Her head leaning on her right fist, Valeska thought of Miami. The day before, she had managed to convince an army officer she had to use his phone to call her best friend, Brittany. The update from Miami had been sort of a relief, which meant things were at least not getting worse.

Some things that were said suddenly alarmed her.

"Wait, you want us to leave?" She asked John. "I mean, why? We have our stuff well taken care for. And, like, with all due respect, but do we give a fuck what the refugees say? Of course they say the hounds are after 'em, they wanted Jacques to patch 'em up. I called my friend yesterday and she was like, good news for you, New Rock is safe."

She paused for a second, then continued with a softer voice.

"I figured I had to leave this place sometime soon, but I go when I need to go, really. I still have a house here."

Jaques smiled wearily.
"Why should they not have said as much to the police, then, if their intent was to lie for assistance? They had my help for nothing, and I made that clear immediately. I do not think that they lied. I think that they were telling the truth, or if not that they thought that they were - and that there are hounds, if not in New Rock itself, then very close by."
He shook his head.
"This city has been a fine home for a while, but we must face the truth - one is safer on the move these days. Our fate, I guess, is now up to God."
His smile slipped, and he sighed, pushing himself to his feet.
"Ah, I suppose I should make myself useful. I suggest the pair of us," he nodded at Valeska, "who are able to perform first aid split up. Let us loot our share and be off."

Amy nodded to Mark. "Aye, my thoughts 'xactly." She answered with a sigh and a smirk, both weighing the same in her expression. She wasn't happy with the confirmation but there was no point in arguing as she knew that her initial thoughts and Mark's words were the most probable assumption.

"Becarefel 'oot there will ye?" She added, with a sincere tone and a devious smirk.

Before the scavenging party had the chance to move out Jaque spoke up and his words carried the impact of a grenade, every word that came out of his mouth after saying the hounds were here came to her as if muffled by a silencer. They didn't reach her. Those blighters really had a way of fucking things up everywhere they went..

She sighed as she snapped out of the initial shock which had lasted long enough for her to miss the better part of what Jaque had to say. With Lola's reply her mood brightened again though and as she disappeared to find her stuff Amy burst into a brief giggle fit.

That was until John's serious tone burst her bubble. Oh great.. And I only just grown accustomed to this city.. She thought as she listened to John's words. "Aye.. I don't wanna en' up between the big birds an' them doggies aga'n." She muttered to herself as she moved to get up. She always kept the more important part of her stuff with her. Her bag and her gun were always with her. Not because she didn't trust the other, on contrary, she kept them with her because she wanted to be able to move out at any time necessary to fight for them and not have to worry about leaving anything important behind.

Before she had the chance to really do anything Val, or Valeska as her full name sounded, spoke up. Her words sounded wise, to some degree. Amy suddenly realized that she had a habit of being quite naive.. Believing whatever was told to her without thinking twice half of the time. But before she could be arsed to actually care about that thought Jaques replied to Val. Her words added even more confusion in the mix.

"So.. What're we supposed tae beleef then? Val's friend or them refugees? I think the question wou'd be.. 'Do we want tae risk 'et?' Moving will suck bu' I suppose it's better than the risk of gettin' our arse grinded by them hounds?" She said with due concern.

Michael considered this briefly, and then nodded in Jacques' direction.

"I'm with Frenchie here. Look, the city's got a lot of salvageable supplies, but running out of food is the least of our worries. Let's not be naive--major cities have been getting swarmed by these damned creatures, and New Rock is gonna be no different. We've no reason to distrust these rumors, and we've got to look at the big picture. If we stay and nothing happens, then we'll still be stuck in this shithole with just enough rations to get by. But if we stay and the hounds come here in force...we'll be going to hell in a handbasket. We need to start living on our terms, and that means staying one step ahead of the demons."

Michael paused for a moment, letting his words sink in. He couldn't discern what most of the party though, but he noticed Jacques give him a slight nod of thanks.

"So if we're voting on it, I say we stick to the safe plan: make one last raid for supplies, and then get the hell outta Dodge.

"Yeah, I suppose..."

Val cocked her head and looked at Michael in a pouting way.

"But... it's like... I know you're right, but as long as we're here at least we know where to get stuff. Outside town we've no idea what to live from."

Then she sighed and rose to her feet.

"OK, looting... Can I go with Amy? No, wait, Jacques gonna be on the medicine team, then I'm on the other, right?"

The mention of the hounds made Mark silent for a while. He listened intently to the conversation going on while considering the options. His silence was broken however, Jaques mention of God making him chuckle audibly. He was reluctant to put faith and trust in others, but worshipping a so-called wise, infallible higher being was preposterous to him. In any case, if God had any relevance to the current situation it could only be bad; his pigeons slaughtering humans like savage brutes. This wasn't the time for arguments within the group however, so the Dutch kept his opinion to himself for now.

So they were moving out. A change of scenery, leaving what little safety New Rock offered and heading out on open ground. It'd be an adventure at least, which was something he looked forward to. Mark's memory was lost for now, but perhaps it would return to him if he saw familiar sights. At the very least he wouldn't die from failure to act against a possible threat. As long as he was given the option to survive he'd take it.

"Northwest it is then." he said, slowly getting up and moving to the window next to John. As he stood there he turned however, looking at Valeska. He thought she could use some encouraging words, even if it wouldn't mean much. He guessed that knowing that others cared was a comfort on its own.

"The only thing you need to worry about is keeping us in shape, Val. The years I spent in the military for survival and scouting haven't gone wasted, I'll do my best to ensure our safety. We'll make things work with what we have now and with what we find on the way." Mark said calmly, giving her a reassuring smile and making eye contact for a moment. He then nodded and turned to look out the window, his hands clasped together behind his back. This would be the last evening he'd experience at this place and he would intently observe every detail. His past memories were gone and he would not let that happen to his new memories.

Then, not turning his head and keeping as silent as he could, he decided to speak to John without alarming any of the others. "Do you have anything specific in mind for where we're travelling? Some of us are trained for survival, but I'm not sure how long some of the others would last out there. We'll need a clear goal beyond survival to keep everyone motivated."

John glanced at Mark and replied in a low tone "I was thinking Wyoming. It was the least populated state before the seaboards sunk, so I figure that it'll be left alone for the time being. Problem is, we'll have to travel through enemy held territory to get there, but if we stay here, eventually we'll be trapped. If Val's correct and both Heaven and Hell are far from New Rock, we shouldn't have any problems. Let's hope that's the case"

John then turned to the rest of the group "Whatever you decide, remember that even without biblical bastards, the streets aren't safe. Murder and rape are commonplace, so take care of yourselves and each other".

Listening to the progress in the conversation Amy was glad that something interesting was gonna happen. Moving wasn't good but it wasn't that bad either. At least there would be adventure and somewhat exciting things happening instead of sitting here playing aristocrats in a neighborhood.

"Alrighty thaen, so I taeke it I'm with Jaques oo'n the med team right?" She said, half actually interested in the answer to the question she posed but more interested in would go with who. She didn't really like the idea of having to guide a depressed man through the city safely let alone a bigger group on her own. Doing the math herself to prevent asking silly questions Amy spoke.

"So.. In that case it'd be Mark, Lola and Val oo'n team on' tae look fer ammo an' all that shite? An' Jaques, Mikheel with me tae look fer meds? And John tae watch the wares 'ere?" She continued, considering that Michael was probably one of the best guys to have around considering they'd have to take Jaques with them.

In truth Amy didn't mind Jaques at all. She just didn't like his attitude, it was too self-sacrificial. Let's hope we won't bump into gang war or he might feel compelled to patch the victims up.. She thought quietly as she awaited the answers.

"Wyoming?!" were the words with which Lola then hopped into the room again, now wearing flared black pants with a narrow waisted leather jacket (this jacket she was proud of. She loved the shape, but the fact that the previous owner was an aggressive bitch who had attacked her and lost, made it into a trophy). Her hair was tucked back in a big ponytail and -of course- her high heeled boots were still on.

She grabbed a chair and sat down on it. While changing her clothes she had sort of been listening to the conversation in the livingroom. About the creatures being close. Or not. About murder, rape and the likes, well that sounded like her good old nightlife in Charlotte. Although it now had spreaded througout the whole community. Those supernatural whatever-shit-creatures were the thing that frightened her. Right, Wyoming.

"Isn't that like across the whole states? We might as well say we're going to be nomads then! ...Anyhow, I'm fine with going to get ammo with Mark and Val. The place I know is a place where many dealers are, so probably the right place to get ammo." and cigarettes she took a breath. "If those creatures are really here, I'm fine with leaving. I saw it happening, them both, when I was at the border of my city heading South and it's something I do not want to see again." Without noticing it herself, her had widened and she was staring to the walls and ceiling as if they were about to fall down on her.

"Whieomin'?" Amy said, surprised by Lola's response. I think she heard something I missed out on... she thought. Perhaps she heard what Mark and John were just discussing.. Amy's thoughts continued as she listened to Lola.

When Lola concluded her sentence Amy's response was pure impulse. Perhaps inappropriate to the situation but with the best intentions non the less. Coiling her arm so the strap of her pack and her gun fell loose, she didn't want anything flying around and going off while doing this, she acted.

"Soome'un needs a huggle." She stated with a brief manic grin as she quickly jumped up and pounced on Lola in an embracing, partially forced, hug.

Watching the mad Scot assault the German, Jaques blinked once.
"Um. Yes, we should be off. Michael, Amy, I am going to defer to your expertise in the field. Our first stop, I think, should be an apothecary's if there is still one around somewhere - it will no doubt be plundered, but anything left could be useful."

He shook his head; looting was very much against his instincts. But, he had no choice if he was to live. All he could do was to ensure nobody got hurt.

Michael ignored the girls' antics with an air of impatience, and turned to Jacques instead.

"Apothecary? We call 'em drug stores around here, buddy. But sure, you're the doctor here-- if you say we need medical supplies, then we'll get 'em. I think I remember seeing a drug store a few blocks north... we should check there first. Amy and I will make sure you get there in one piece."

At that, John glanced over at the Scot, still embracing Lola enthusiastically. He shook his head and turned this time to John.

"And as to Wyoming...that's a hell of a long ways away from here, John. It'd take us a year at the very least...unless we can get enough gas to drive our way out there. But let's cross that bridge when we get there. We need to start moving before it gets dark."

John hid a smile as he watched the enthusiastic Scott pounce on Lola, embracing her warmly. The group would need unity to survive the trip all the way north.

"Wyoming might be a long way Michael, but think of it this way: We'll be on the move most of the time and we'll be passing through sparcely populated areas, lessening the chances of anything happening to us. And once we're there we should be fine. Now, if the teams are determined, you better be off. The sooner you leave the better chances you have of finding something. I'll be waiting for your return"

You all have been in the city long enough to know the location of the hospital, a kilometer to the east. Unfortunately, the shortest route goes through a well known gang's territory. There are ways around them, but it'll take longer and there's no telling who or what you might encounter. You've already checked and rechecked the gunshops close to you and picked them clean, although a few odd bullets or a gun might still be found. Most of the guns and ammunition has been looted by people and gangs or confiscated by the police and you're most likely to get what you need from them one way or another.

That's not to say there aren't other ways to obtain what you need. You might find medicine or weapons in an abandoned house, for example, or in a shop that hasn't been looted yet...

Distant memories of her city being destroyed and things coming out of the sky were suddenly shattered by someone grabbing and squeezing her. "What the..." she looked at the person with widened and fanatic eyes, about to smash her on the floor, but the face she saw immediately brought her back in the present. "God, Amy, let go!" then she paused a second, her face softening a bit and said "Okay, you are one of those hug-girls. That's ok, I know them. Just- just don't do it too often."

Val looked at John with an expression of shock and disbelief, but she didn't say anything. She moved to her green leather jacket hanging on a chair and put it on.

"Lolly, you coming?" She said in Lola's direction, her voice soft. "You lead the way."

(She will wait at the door until Mark and Lola move out.)

Mark nodded lightly as John responded. Wyoming was a fair bit away, but as a scout he was used to travelling a lot. When he heard others reply he was surprised; though their less-than-enthusiastic responses to the plan were expected, he thought they had been silent enough to keep it between themselves. However, as there was a serious lack of better plans, no one outright refused it. The group seemed to realise they had no luxury in their options.

The Dutch failed to stifle a chuckle as he watched the interaction between Amy and Lola. The Scottish girl seemed far to open and warm-hearted towards people. Normally it could be nice qualities for a person to have, but in a time of survival it was best to keep a respectable distance between yourself and those you meet on the way. Lola knew that aspect of life very well, and he could say without much doubt that she has had more experience with surviving on the street than any of the others.

"Alright, let's head out then." Mark said, looking at Val first and then Lola. "Do you need my Colt, Lola? Or are ya fine without?" He continued.

The Dutch assumed Lola could make better use of it than Val. He also guessed that a person who has treated countless bullet wounds wasn't very eager to pull the trigger on someone, even if he or she would be a threat to her. Mark wielded his guns not only to protect the lives of others, but also to protect them from the guilt one has to carry along after wounding and killing others. In times like these it was quite a feat to protect your own life however, let alone those of others.

...Lolly...well it was a stupid way to call her, but the way Valeska said it made it sound cute "Yes I'm coming." She made a little smile at Amy and then walked towards Valeska and Mark. When Mark asked his question she eagerly responded. "Yes, I would appreciate that! I only have this tiny bitch-saver" She opened her handbag and pulled out a typical self defence gun for ladies. "And I have room enough to hide it." She showed the content of her bag, where now her make-up was brought back to the essentials (lipstick, mirror with powder, eyeliner) was indeed some extra space. "And I can even hide it in my coat if it's not too big." She walked with them through the door while talking.

Mark laughed as Lola commented on the self defence gun, he liked her attitude.

"It's easier to keep in your coat, might be too much of a hassle to get it out of your bag if it's needed." He said, taking an additional clip and handing it to her with a nod. A weapon with lack of ammo could be a lot more frustrating than not having a weapon at all in some situations.

"I'll keep my AK in the open; it's harder to hide anyway and having a wordless warning out to everyone can be convenient."

Amy giggled at Lola's response. "Sorry, never 'new ye woo'd mind it." She explained with a soft smile as she grabbed her bag and the Tavor before slinging one on her bag and unlocking the safety pin on the other and holding it firmly in her hands.

"Time tae goo' boys!" She announced as she didn't feel like lingering any longer.
