BSB on steed: Helm of fortune, sword of might.
BSB on foot: great weapon, armour of Caledor, amulet of light.

Try both of this types and choose what is better suits you.

No fear/terror protection. No battle banner or second mage.

If there are no DE, it would be reasonable to take an archmage with the Book, and a caddie.

As a friend of mine said, white lions are more reliable. Phoenix guard can't kill anything, and, which is much more important, they are very afraid of losing combat. Lions are better as an anvil.

20 PG is to much, take 15 and give them banner of sorcery. Also, give BSB sword of might and helm of fortune.

I'd give lion standard to spearmen and, as it was said, talisman of Loec to Bladelord. Or amulet of light.

I recommend to replace griffon for a sun dragon.

Didn't try death against skaven, but, as geoguswrek already said, high and and fire are very effective against them.
