I like the ridge alot. Nice transition from colour to colour.

I would suggest using a deeper / darker red at the bottom of each spike. Makes them jump at you.

i might try swapping out the DM for a lvl 2 on foot and buff up the other units a bit. In that case: give you archmage the silverwand and some scrolls or stones and you mage the seerstaff. Try the talisman of loec and the standard of balance. The talisman allows you to force the hydra to reroll all his saves (see the topic on the ToL) and the standards negates his hatred and makes you immune to psychology.

In order for a spell to have a spelleffect, the spell must be succesfull. The miscast implies the spell was not succesfull and so it can't have a spelleffect. Great model! It's quite simple to create nice looking champions and heroes for you army by using spare parts from kits. I also like the crackling energy technique you used on the sword. Very nice.

Edit: I'd like to see another dragon prince added to your unit as 5 is a bit weak for a unit which is so important to your plan. Only I don't know where you'd get the points... Skeinsliver's only really worth going for if you know that you'll have fewer units to deploy than your opponent- a +2 bonu...

I have seen BoC in action recently on a small tournament. I hadn't ever seen them on the field an I was really charmed by their performance, style of playing and the tactics deployed by the player. So, I am quite looking forward to the upcomming armybook. Maybe I'll even buy it to expand my armybook...

One thing I am not so sure about is the Reaverbow. I mean, unless your Commander is NOT going in the Dragon princes, your Commander will be more often in combat than shooting. Or else, the unit is in my opinion useless, unless you really go for deployment in depth and go for a counter-defensive doc...

I agree with Musashi, the wording is clear. It might not be how it's intented, but hey, we are playing warhammer and the idea of a great item in our collection (instead of being humiliated by the new dark elf items) is something I can embrace.
