Resignation of duties

Following my attempted Sabatical , I've realised that I just don't have enough time to be working on this website along side everything else I'm doing. It's been several weeks since I last visited, and I've been averaging less than a post a week since May. So I'm hanging up my hat and resigning from...

Re: Cheap warhammer in Australia

One thing i would say tho, is that your choice of text against that background makes it VERY hard to read - not sure if thats a browser issue however (i'm using chrome at present) Which leads to the standard issue link for webmasters of all varieties: http://www.ulthuan.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&...

Re: Requesting Travel Tips from the English

The best thing in the UK is....LEGOLAND! =D> Isn't that in Denmark? My best advice for things to see is to start local. Oxford is a city seeped in history, and has some wonderful places to visit, so have a wander around the various museums, and then up and down the river, it's pretty. Portsmouth is...

New forums

With our 8th edition book up and coming soon (Or so the mods tell me), there's been a request for some clean slates for Tactics, Army lists, and Rules questions. As a result, I've put up three new forums, one for each of the above. For the time being their rules are the same as their 7th edition cou...

Re: Down time last night?

The server is set to automatically reboot at 0000 GMT. It takes approx 5 minutes for the site to come back online afterwards.

We concluded that 5 mins a day was better than a few hours every week or two as the damn thing crashed.

Sabatical leave

All, Due to time constraints of a reality nature, I am taking a leave of my [ir]regular Loremaster duties. This means until notified otherwise, I should not be contacted for anything that doesn't specifically require me. I will also not be updating any projects, including the blog or province. I hav...

I am also interested if any of the UK residents can fill me in what county did the Alliance party win their seat. I am really feeling sorry for the UK people. I would sure as hell be frustraded with such election rules. The BBC generated some nice flash on the results: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/share...

Quick answer: There isn't one. If we have to abandon the domain, rebuild the forums, and reset all the activity again, then things may change.

Re: Andruillius has been banned

Between you , you've basically nailed all the key points in this case, the only one you seem to be missing is that this is his 4th ban I believe (Eldacar issued a week not that long ago, I issued 24 hours not long before that, I believe that was his 2nd 24 hour ban). Opinions umong the staff differ ...

Re: Andruillius has been banned

#Albion has nothing much to do with us. We have more to do with them than other communities (hence the link on the menu bar), but there's a whole host of links on the home page, and we have nothing much to do with any of them either. Each community runs it's members in it's own ways, #Albion include...

Andruillius has been banned

We do not normally announce bannings on site, because glorifying those who have been banned isn't productive. Also, most of our bannings are bots. However, in this case there is a bit of information you all need to be aware of. Andruillius has now been banned from Ulthuan. He is no longer welcome he...

For all users posting things aimed at Andy, he has now been banned from the site, and will not be responding.

We're not making a big noise about this, but you need to be told.

Upsets are a part of any tournament structure, but IMO Duke's bracket was one of the easier ones, reducing their chances of being upset.

So, a moral victory here then.

Announcement regarding shadow accounts

EDIT - NOTE! This was an April Fool's joke, and is not happening, read the full thread for details. The loremasters have decided that too many people have too many accounts on Ulthuan. As a result, in two weeks time we will be banning any more users who have multiple accounts from the same location....

The Loremasters carry the internet equivalent of STDs! Use protection whenever dealing with them. Hey, now that would have been an idea, to put a virus or similar on that link, which would then have infected your computer and caused serious problems. Now why didn't I think of that at the time?
