Love the Phoenix!
I think it works because it's so simple - there's nothing flash and it looks like very little effort has gone into it (although I'm sure it has). The blending is excellent and looks very realistic with no flash stuff that gets in the way of what is a very simple model.
Good work!

So, I'm back. Why?!? you might find yourself asking... (You might also ask if you care, and why I think you care. Ego - I have a giant ego) Regardless, my absence has been a number of reasons, but foremost is that I have spent the last 9 months training to be a primary school teacher, and I finally ...

Alright people, I'm almost set to start GMming this, but I would like to beg your indulgences for a few things: 1) Because I don't have the time to go through all of the backstory and character motivations, I am sorry to say that I will marginalize some of the older characters. This is because I ca...

Re: One Brief Shining Moment
To elaborate on my previous post: Indeed, tis a shame that the quest should end thus. Never shall we see what it is that finally kills Sir John. By my count he's toppled an ungodly number of enemy Knights, Saxons, Gales, Francs but also Ceornred, Lethodus, a ghost and our good friend the giant. He a...

Re: One Brief Shining Moment
Tired after his long journey, one that had been plagued with worry and concern, John was almost relieved to see the ordered nature of the city, despite the Saxon occupation. He nodded his head to the man who had marked out the Saxon rapists. 'It is pleasing to see that King Cedric takes his Cymric o...

Re: What game console to get?
PC games are much better but only if you have the right specs for it. Mine cost me closer to £900 and it handles the 'ultra' graphics of Skyrim with ease (highest). But thats alittle steep. No, the games are just better. Youre saying that if something looks clunky, it cant be a good game. graphics ...

Re: The Falklands
And no, sending warships of any type to a British territory is not a provoking military action - routine assignment or not, it's good sense giving the tensions around the higher levels of the Argentine Government. Funny, from this point of view, Cuban crisis was simply a fad, because sending Soviet...

Again, I am NOT saying Britain should just give up their rights to the island. Just that the attitude and arguments being made by brits here, are pretty arrogant and feeble. The British Argument is simple, the islanders want to remain British, who are we to go against the wishes of the islanders? I...

Re: The Falklands
The British were on Argentina before Argentina existed, and certainly didn't own it before the British. The people the Brits put there were some of the original inhabitants - if you ignore France or Spain, both of whom ceded their rights of ownership to the British. The bolded part is outright fals...

Re: The Falklands
Of course I was refering to the 1800s, you know, when the British basically invaded the Falklands and removed the Argentinians, then ignored diplomatic attempts by Argentina to rectify the situation. Also, again... That IS how things were done in the 1800's of course. And technically speaking, the ...

Re: The Falklands
What makes me laugh about the situation is how Argentina is pretending it's doing this all by the book etc, which is only happening because they got battered when they tried to take it by force and know they can't do it again. Do you know that we were ruled by one of the most bloodiest dictatorship...

Re: The Falklands
I think that being in control of somewhere for nearly 200 years does give serious clout to the claim. I think that also makes the inhabitants historically British, and historically Falklanders. There's more British-Falklanders than there are Argetinian-Falklanders. By your logic, Scotland, Wales and...

Re: The Falklands
Honestly, there isn't one right solution here, but the general attitude of the English people in this thread has been rather appalling. Hardly. I think the British (not English) are well within their rights to get up in arms about this. It's essentially an attempt at a forcing us to give away somet...

Re: The Falklands
I like how the only ones talking about war and sending submarines and stuff is the UK, while Argentina (and the majority of its people) don't want another war, and only go to the UN and use diplomatic ways to voice their claims. To be fair, Argentina sent the military first last time. It's our turn...
