The fact this is still around since I was last here really emphasizes that jack shit all has been going on here. Comforting to know.

I was at rank 1 diamond for a little while. Then the stat reset hit. Then my wireless modem decided it didn't like me and I lost 15 straight games to disconnect.

There hasn't been much new between. :/ Guess it's a slow year, what with the economy and all, or something like that.

If it really bothers you, you should try to master nydus worms. They let you bypass choke, but are hard to use, and rarely used. I've never seen anyone do it, but if I were to try it, I would open with a strong push of banelings, blow their supply, production and tech, then poke in with your zerglin...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
A bit excessive as usual lathian, here is a tip: Live in the real world for a change. Kids are by nature curious and will explore, and parents can only do this much to stop them, its the parents job to keep and eye on their kids, and prevent them from getting into danger at any given time yeah. But...

Canada was part of the Manhattan Project, the majority of whose research was NOT published. Same with Sweden's nuclear weapons programme. Which significantly predates the FOIP act. You said yourself that the Government is right to have SOME military secrets, which you posited as an empirical and no...

Most zerg are forced into outmacroing the hell out of the other guy, using mutas to harass workers and deny expansions, and basically wait until the other guy starves to death.

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
"Superior" is obviously a subjective and unquantifiable term, but I feel it applies nonetheless. The examples I picked were more "symptoms" of our percieved superiority, as the actual factors are quite difficult to identify. My argument was also really meant to appeal to your in...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
When another animal on this planet builds cities, explores the globe, writes poetry, or develops mathematical theories, then I'll consider your point of view. Until then, you and I are superior forms of life. Dogs are fantastic creatures, but they don't have a divine spark. Actually I can't really ...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
If your dog bites someone who enters your property, it is your damn faulth. You cannot expect for example a child the age of say, 9 to be under constant supervision, no matter how good the parents are there are times when it won't be under supervision, and if a kid who accidentally threw an frisbee...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
Well remember the context of this conversation, in that it's about having a guard dog. Re: The Right to bear mutts.
As discussed in my previous post under Scottish law you are responsible for your dog at all times, no matter where it is. A dog should never be in a position where it is allowed to attack a child. There are circumstances where it lessens the fault of the dog, but it is always the fault of the dog o...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
I was completely unaware those were the two choices being discussed. It certainly is. A parent that lets their children completely free roam into a backyard with a dog, out a window, or into traffic is a completely shite parent. Sure, put the dog down if it's serious enough, but honestly I'd want a...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
As much as I agree that your dog shouldn't bite them, but no, your kid does not have the right to crawl into my yard because he's throwing stuff into it. You, as a parent have an obligation to ask if you can get it, and I have an obligation to give it back to you. You can't just trespass whenever yo...

Re: The Right to bear mutts.
If a child jumps into your garden and gets bitten it's tough titties? Rubbish. Child > Dog. Sorry. What if the child is permanently disfigured for chasing his frisbee over your wall? If your dog got out of your yard and some child kicked it unprovoked just because it wandered into his yard, you'd b...

The point is that they are not newbs. They are veterans. If we are talking about Afghanis, thay have been in war since 80's. They were first trained by CIA, gained a lot of experience against USSR, then added some experience against NATO, and now, as I have read, they get the training from US Army ...

Your minority opinions on policies are not valid premises for arguments. I've already said I don't give a damn if we disclose nuclear launch codes. That's full disclosure. Not true. Canada conducted extensive unilateral, bilateral and multilateral research into the production of nuclear weapons, th...

A dog is not allowed to bite if it is not a licensed guard dog? What are you going on about. And as a property owner, I have a dog to help protect my property. The dog lives on the property and regardless of its stance in the pack, it is going to protect its home from intruders. Simple: Is it a pet...

lathian also caught the gist of my argument, we don't need to shelter complete and utter tossers who think petting a strange dog that's cornered on its own property is a good idea. (emphasis mine). The problem is, a very large number of "dog attacks" are people who don't know much about d...

As I said, you're treating nuclear launch codes as a special case, which you dismiss for a completely unrelated reason. Re: The Right to bear mutts.
I don't own him as a guard dog, and he hasn't been trained to attack. That being said, I know he is weird around strange men. The reason he is on his line is so that he can run around and get exercise, not to be a guard dog. Personally I would think that if you put up a sign "my dog may bite&q...
