The forum archives are the old site forums, before the current ones. The posts there go back to 2004, and while you can still register there (the forum software still "works"), there's no point, as no-one can post.

However, it can be worth a trip down memory lane both for the wonderful content there, and for some nostalgia for those who posted on those boards.

BTW, posts cannot be automatically added to the new forum from the archive or vice versa.
